Playhouse presents comedy, “The Fox on the Fairway”

The Playhouse at Museum Village continues its 24th season with “The Fox on the Fairway”, a comedy-farce written by Ken Ludwig. Performances are scheduled for July 6th, 12th, 13th, 18th, 19th & 20th at 8 pm, and on Sundays, July 7th, 14th and 21st at 3 pm.  Tickets to individual performances are $25 each, which includes dessert at intermission consisting of apple pie, ice cream, cheese, iced tea and coffee. Group rates are available and reservations are suggested. For more information, call the Box Office at (845) 294-9465 or visit AtThePlayhouse.org. Directed by Terri Weiss.

Mistaken identities and over-the-top romantic shenanigans are part of this mad-cap adventure set at a stuffy country club. You don’t have to love golf to love this furiously paced comedy about how far arch rivals will go to win the annual inter-club tournament.
A tribute from Ken Ludwig to the great English farces of the 1930s and 1940s, “The Fox on the Fairway” takes audiences on a hilarious romp, which pulls the rug out from underneath the stuffy denizens of a private country club.
