The evening’s cocktail reception and seated buffet dinner will shocase Hudson Valley ingrdients, while spotlighting The Sylvia Center’s activities. with tours of the organization’s on-site teaching garden, where students learn how food grows and the skills to cook healthy meals. Indeed, two of the passed hors d’oeuvres presented during the evening’s pre-dinner reception will be conceived and prepared by teens participating in The Sylvia Center’s 12-week Cooks for Health program currently in session at Philmont, NY’s Philmont Cooperative Market.
